Q. What is Volumetric Weight?

A.

Volumetric weight is calculated based on the size of the three dimensions of the box.

When choosing FedEx, DHL, OCS, or SF Express as a shipping method, whichever weight between the actual weight and volumetric weight that has a higher number will be applied.

When choosing SAGAWA, EMS, sea mail, or air mail, the actual weight will be applied.

Calculation of Volumetric Weight

The method of calculating volumetric weight is as follows:

Volumetric Weight [kg] = Length [cm] × Width [cm] × Height [cm] ÷ 5000
In the case of YAMATO: Length [cm] + Width [cm] + Height [cm]

Using the rate simulator, you can calculate the actual shipping fee to be applied by entering the size of the three dimensions of the box and the weight.
Please make use of it before shipping.
